WHAT DOES DE LAB DO?
The LAB aims the development of human resources inside the University of Brasilia, aiming the creation of value. Here we aim to develop skills on our members to prepare them to the Industry of the Future (Industry 4.0 or Advanced Manufacturing).
HOW?
In order to develop the skills and competences, LAB integrates the PBL (Problem Based Learning) Methodology with Makerspace concepts. Always integrating different areas of knowledge.
Industry of the Future
Industry of the Future includes enabling technologies such as: Cloud, Integrated Systems, Additive Manufacturing, Simulations, Autonomous Robots, Big Data, Augmented Reality, Information Security and Internet of Things (IoT).
WHAT WE OFFER?
LAB has some areas for project development as well as tools for prototyping: Electronics, Woodwork and 3D Printing.
In addition to the space that follows the idea of Makerspace, LAB also has other ways of guaranteeing the development skills and competences, which are: Technical support on projects development, Workshops and Mini-courses.
